I'm partnering with Maryland New Directions to provide clothing closet management and image consulting services to those seeking employment. This organization provides Baltimore City residents with the job skills and training to be able to secure employment at no cost to them. As of 2015, 72% of their clients obtained employment after completing their training. Mrs. North Carolina was in Las Vegas and helped out while she was there.  Here's what she writes:

On 6 January I had the pleasure to visit the Dewey NSPCA no kill animal shelter in Las Vegas, NV. I donated a bag full of toys, learned about what they do, what they need, and about each animal and their personality. I got to play with the cats and meet some amazing dogs and a bunny. I was so honored to have the opportunity and moved by how much each worker and volunteer knows about every animal. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and will continue to help support and spread the word about the SPCA.

Ms. Maryland American Dream donated items to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Baltimore. The Ronald McDonald House Charities is part of a non-profit organization supported by local donations and provides a home away from home for sick children and their families and provides funding for local programs for the wellbeing of children.
