Back to School Time!

Today Aug. 18 I had my second appearance as Miss American Dream at a School Supplies Drive and Giveaway at Central Parkway in Orlando. We gave away over 125 stuffed Bookbags with all sorts of supplies for the hispanic and non hispanic community of Orlando. The event was presented by the Association of Puerto Ricans Living in Florida (Asic. Puertorriqueños Viviendo en Florida) and sponsored by Univision Orlando TV Channel and Salsa 98.1 Radio Station. I had a great time as I gave back to my community and educated others of my platform which is the importance of volunteer work.

                                 

MTEC Monday

Ms. American Dream 2013, Stephanie Hollis has started her reign off by supporting a local pageant! Here is what she said about the event.

I attended the 2013 MTEC Pageant as a special guest August 10, 2013. There were 30 contestants competing for a $1000.00 scholarship. I am excited to announce that 10 of the top 12 ladies are Wilson County residents!!!

Family Friday

We are one big family here at American Dream Pageants.  And representatives in our system feel the same way.  Case in point, here is our new Mrs. American Dream 2013 Cherie Dempster.  She made her first appearance this week at the Taste of the Nation in support of the Second Harvest Food Bank.

She is not alone as a member of our royalty.  Her little girls are our Little and Tiny Christmas Dream Queens.

Beauty and Philanthropy definitely run in the family in the Dempster house!

Welcome Home Miss American Dream!!!

A welcome home party was held at Earhart's Grill at Lakeland Airport for our new Miss American Dream 2013, Kristel Pabon.  A band called Ritmo Caribe (caribbean rhythms) performed at the party.  They celebrated not only her win, but also that she is the first Miss Puerto Rico to participate in the American Dream pageant and win the highly coveted title!  The party was held on August 9th.
